Jason Halpern took over JMH, his family’s real estate development business, in 2010. In addition to being Managing Partner, Mr. Halpern is also the founder of JMH Development LLC. He has worked tirelessly since then and now they have $500 million invested in New York state projects. Some of these projects include renovating 184 Kent Avenue into luxury rentals and developing The Townhouses of Cobble Hill in Brooklyn. Mr. Halpern uses his experience in the business to take an innovative approach in creating luxurious and distinctive properties.
JMH provides services across the country including developments in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Miami. Aloft South Beach hotel is another project developed by Mr. Halpern’s team. This development adapted the historical Motel Ankara into something marketable while ensuring its character and charm remained intact. The Aloft South Beach is located in a prime spot just by the water and with easy access to Lake Pancoast and the Collins Canal. This was a huge project and a great success for the company and Mr. Halpern himself.
Mr. Halpern is the third member of his family to run JMH, and it goes without saying the company is currently in good hands. He has shown that he is dedicated to constructing and managing properties in a novel and unprecedented manner. Not only does he show to be a man of good character in his business, but he also goes out of his way to support several different charities. Mr. Halpern has a vision to expand his real estate development all while helping others and supporting the communities he serves.
